The next day when I walked into the school, almost immediately, I noticed that people were staring at me.

Do I have anything on my face?

"No." It said.

Gee, thanks. That would be helpful if you could actually see my face outside of a mirror.

"I aim to please." It retorted.

Ignoring the stares, I went to my locker to grab the books I needed for the first period.

"Hi, Vivian." A sweet voice sang behind my locker door. I closed it and saw that Maggie was staring at me. My eyes immediately shot down to the cross hanging around her neck. For the first time in a long time, I was surprised by how okay I was. It made me almost grin; I was getting better after all.

"She is talking." It said, interrupting my internal ramble.

"Are you listening?" She asked patiently.

"I'm sorry, it was a late night for me. Nightmares." I shrugged. She frowned.

"I wanted to let you know that I don't judge people, but it sounds like he must have been pretty terrible to have been called a nightmare." She said, smirking. "I was saying that I wanted to let you know I'm praying for you." She said.

"Wait, back up, what did you mean by the first thing you said? What do you mean by 'he'?"

"Oh, the date that you went on with Jonathan. He has been talking about it all morning."

"What is he saying?" I asked calmly, but inside it was anything but calm. I told him not to bring up that date again. I warned him.

She just looked at me with sympathy, "That is why I wanted to let you know I'm praying for you. I know you probably don't value your virtue, but it doesn't mean you can't be saved."

Excuse me? Value my virtue?

"Listen, as much as you think you know me, you don't. I do value my 'virtue,' and the only saving I need is from getting arrested after I confront that jerk." I mumbled before gripping the books in my hands so hard my knuckles turned white. I didn't bother to lock my locker because I knew I would be right back. "Oh, and do me a favor. Don't pray for me." I said before walking away. I have a jerk to find.

It didn't take me long, I just followed the path of staring students. The closer I got, the louder I could hear his obnoxious laughter. He was surrounded by his friends, and I could see Andy smirking as he saw me approach. I was sure by now my face was bright red from the anger boiling me alive.

As I walked behind him, his friends instantly got quiet, and I wanted to knock the smirk off Andy's face so bad.

"Oh, baby, I missed you," I hummed before taking my textbook and slamming it against his head. Something sick and malicious purred in pleasure at the sound of the book hitting his thick skull.

I watched him fall forward with a cry and his friends jumping back in an effort to get away.
